Committee & Board Meetings:

Recently, there has been a gradual lifting of Public Health Orders in relation to mandatory COVID-19 safety protocols, including the requirement for social distancing and the wearing of personal protection equipment. Although no longer required, the wearing a mask is a personal choice and individuals are encouraged, but not required, to wear them at public meetings.

Community input on CVRD business is valued. Individuals may attend meetings in person in accordance with room capacity; or participate online (maximum of 5) by pre-registering to join the meeting to participate in Public Input Period or Question Period by emailing: legislativeservices@cvrd.bc.ca

Requests to join Public Input virtual meeting to provide input and comments about agenda items can be emailed to legislativeservices@cvrd.bc.ca up to noon the day prior to the meeting. The first five requestors will be sent a link to the virtual meeting. In-person attendance is also permitted, with no requirement to pre-register. The duration of Public Input Period is 15 minutes and each participant is allotted 3 minutes.

Question Period takes place near the end of each Standing Committee or Board Meeting. Requests to join Question Period virtually can be emailed to: legislativeservices@cvrd.bc.ca. Please include your phone number so that you can be contacted in the event that technical issues arise. In-person attendance is also permitted, with no requirement to pre-register.
