Shawnigan/Cobble Hill Recycling Collection: Trucks have headed out to service the January 10 route. Due to snow and icy road conditions, the route could be delayed. Please keep your material out at the curb later than you normally would.
Homes missed from the January 10 route (Shawnigan/Cobble Hill area), and the January 6 route (Youbou area) will not be serviced again until the next regularly scheduled collection day, and extra material will be accepted in other cans or containers at the curb if needed.
During severe weather conditions, CVRD regularly updates the status for anticipated missed collections or alternate dates for collection. Generally, if a regular curbside collection route is missed, extra material can be placed next to your totes and will be collected on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
