A By-Election has been called for Electoral Area B – Shawnigan Lake. 

Nominations for Director of Electoral Area B – Shawnigan Lake (for the remainder a four year term expiring 2018), will be received by the Chief Election Officer at the Cowichan Valley Regional District office located at 175 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC, during regular office hours beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017, excluding weekends.
