Arts & Culture Grants provide financial assistance to organizations that benefit the residents of the Cowichan Valley Regional District. The funding is decided by the CVRD Arts & Culture Adjudication Committee. Applications for the 2026 grant stream open on December 1, 2025. The deadline for application is January 31, 2026.

 To apply, please follow these steps:

• Review the Grant Distribution Policy 
• Complete the Grant Application Form 
• Complete the Budget Template Form 
• Submit documents via email to arts@cvrd.bc.ca 

Recipients of a 2025 Arts & Culture Grant must submit a final report and final budget to be eligible for subsequent funds. The Arts & Culture Division will provide the forms required via email. Reports are due January 31, 2026.

Cowichan and Chemainus Valleys’ Arts Scholarship Form

Interest earned in this combined trust fund is used to produce annual Arts Scholarships to qualifying local visual, literary, and/or performing arts students. In 2025, two $750 Arts Scholarships will be awarded to qualified candidates during the month of June.

Deadline for application: no later than 4:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026.
